Tektend LLC is seeking a talented and results-driven BI & Analytics Engineer to join our data team onsite in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data engineering and executive business intelligence, designing scalable data models and delivering high-performance dashboards that power enterprise decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) within our modern cloud data warehouse.
- Build, optimize, and manage scalable transformation pipelines using dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Design, develop, and deploy intuitive, enterprise-grade dashboards and reports in Power BI, leveraging advanced DAX.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into high-value analytical products.
- Implement data quality checks, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices to ensure continuous data integrity and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and dimensional modeling methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred) and transformation tools (dbt).
- Strong proficiency in Power BI development, including tabular data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC for a full-time, onsite engagement.
