Zipporin is seeking an exceptional Senior Full-Stack AI Product Engineer to join our dynamic product engineering team in Austin, TX on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of modern web development and applied generative AI, building high-impact, user-centric AI-powered applications from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and machine learning specialists to transform bleeding-edge AI models into seamless, performant digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and deploy production-grade full-stack web applications integrating modern LLM APIs, vector stores, and agentic workflows.
- Design elegant, highly responsive front-end interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript with an obsessive focus on user experience.
- Engineer robust back-end microservices, streaming endpoints, and data pipelines utilizing Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
- Implement rigorous evaluation, monitoring, and telemetry frameworks to evaluate LLM output quality, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Drive engineering excellence through thoughtful code reviews, system design documentation, and mentorship of junior engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and Python ecosystems.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying production AI-enabled features (e.g., RAG systems, tool-use agents, prompt evaluation pipelines).
- Deep proficiency in front-end architecture, modern state management, and real-time streaming interfaces (WebSockets, SSE).
- Strong knowledge of database design, REST/GraphQL API design, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS or GCP).
- Ability to work hybrid out of our Austin, TX office (2-3 days per week) with excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
